We have generated some plans that range from a 2 module - 9.5 m2 ‘cabin’ to a six bedroom house. A client could ‘customise’ a build to suit their needs (e.g. a dining hall, large bunkroom or recreation space) or use any of the single and multi pavilion plans that Nautilus Modular have generated. Simply, design options for the client are virtually infinite. The standard, mezzanine, and ablution cabins that Nautilus Modular have designed meet or exceed all guidelines from the NZ Immigration Self Audit – Worker Accommodation (July 2017) and the Worksafe NZ Worker Accommodation Fact Sheet (Oct 2016), so you know that you are buying not only compliant product, but accommodation that will be robust, durable and comfortable for your workers.
The standard cabin is made from two standard modules and is designed for sleeping quarters for two occupants. The internal dimensions exceed the required guidelines and the large main sliding door and window provide high levels of light and ventilation. The high ceilings and ply interior give the cabin a spacious feeling and there is ample spaces for storage, as underbed drawers and wardrobes on the back wall.
The ablution cabin is a clever iteration of the two module worker cabin and is configured for three separate bathrooms (showers, toilets, vanities). Each bathroom is a ‘wet area’ and has vinyl lining on the floors and up the walls. The room dimensions (2.2m deep and 1.35m) and the high ceilings make the bathrooms feel spacious and the vinyl lining makes for easy cleaning. The ablution cabin is a great compliment to a cluster of worker cabins and it sports the same look, so the aesthetics are a perfect match
